Love Living Here: Big Creek Greenway

From time to time, we’ll share with you reasons to love living here. We’ve called the North Fulton and surrounding counties home since 1975 and have seen the area change and grow into a vibrant, active and engaged community.  Enjoy! here and you’ll enjoy a very special resource: the Big Creek Greenway. Part of the Alpharetta Parks & Recreation division, the Greenway promotes conservation, recreation, alternative transportation, and environmental education.

The Big Creek Greenway is primarily a 12-foot wide concrete path winding through and along Big Creek–ideal for walking, jogging, inline skating and biking. Mountain bike trails are located on the east side of the creek about 2/5 mile south of Webb Bridge Road.  The total length of the Big Creek Greenway, from Windward Parkway to Mansell Road, is approximately 8 miles.

Long range plans include connecting the Greenway to the Forsyth County trail system.
