One of the top reasons newcomers flock to North Fulton County is we have the best schools in Metro Atlanta. The Atlanta Business Chronicle just released their annual Education Guide which details specific rankings for area schools on a number of factors.
This article here from the ABC shows Northview High in Duluth leading the pack in the SAT scores for all Fulton County public high schools with a mean score or 1769.
Not far behind, and also among the tops in the state of Georgia are Johns Creek (1729), Milton (1681), Chattahoochee (1674), Roswell (1677), Alpharetta (1660) and Centennial (1582).
Next door in Cobb County, top public high school SAT scores went to Walton (1743), Pope (1645), Lassiter (1636), and Wheeler (1611). In Forsyth County, Lambert (1609), South Forsyth (1606), and West Forsyth (1657) stand out among the others.
